Zoals veel Nederlandse beroemdheden koppels, gingen de twee niet zonder slag of stoot met elkaar uit. Bastian was eigenlijk met iemand anders op dat moment, met wie hij ook een kind had. Het succesvolle gezin heeft nu in totaal vier kinderen. Het echtpaar gaf onlangs toe dat Tusk thuis zijn broek ophield, en Bastian moest toegeven dat hij in staat was het overzicht te bewaren en kalm te blijven, wat hem totaal ontbrak. Maar nogmaals, vakanties en feesten zijn in Bastian’s handen. Ze zeggen dat de reden dat ze al zo lang samen zijn, is dat hun relatie zakelijker en duidelijker is.
