Al bijna 10 jaar zijn Shakira en haar partner Gerard Piqué samen en geven fans op Instagram steeds een glimp van hun vrolijke gezinsleven. De twee kregen een relatie in 2010 nadat ze elkaar hadden ontmoet op de set van haar “Waka Waka” muziekvideo. Mensen in de entertainment-industrie springen regelmatig van de ene relatie naar de volgende, maar voor Shakira en haar partner Gerard Piqué, een Spaanse professionele voetballer, is hun liefde nog steeds sterk bijna een decennium nadat ze elkaar ontmoetten.
Het huwelijk is, ondanks hun lange geschiedenis samen, nog steeds iets die Shakira bang maakt. “Om je de waarheid te zeggen, het huwelijk maakt me bang… zo bang als de pest. Ik wil niet dat hij me ziet als de vrouw. Ik heb liever dat hij me ziet als zijn vriendin,” zei de popster terwijl Piqué lachte tijdens hun gezamenlijke interview met 60 Minutes. “Zijn minnares, zijn vriendin. Het is als een beetje verboden fruit, snap je?”
