Niet alleen behoort Anouk tot de top van de atleten in Nederland, ze richt zich vooral op het onderdeel allround, waarbij ze een zilveren medaille haalde op de Olympische Spelen in Tokio. Daarnaast is Niek zelf ook een zeer getalenteerde topsporter: hij is professioneel roeier.
Het stel deelt zo nu en dan leuke foto’s op Instagram en gaat waarschijnlijk samen terug naar Amsterdam nu de Spelen voor Anouk voorbij zijn. Ze heeft 2 jaar geleden al een pauze ingelast, dus het is nog even afwachten of ze doorgaat met sporten.
