Destinee Hooker- Volleyball
Destinee Dante Hooker is a renowned volleyball player who made a significant impact on the United States women’s national volleyball team in 2008. With a versatile sporting background, she excelled in both volleyball and track and field during her university days. Hooker’s athletic prowess was evident throughout her high school years at Southwest High School in Texas, where she shone in basketball, track and field, and volleyball. Notably, she achieved all-state recognition in volleyball and emerged as the high jump champion in 2004-2005. Hooker’s international success includes winning a gold medal in the 2010 World Grand Prix and a fifth-place ranking at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship. Currently, she continues her volleyball journey as part of the Tianjin Bihai Bank Women’s Volleyball Team.
