Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner | 30 Years
Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner’s love story is unique in how it all started with a photo-op kiss in 1976. She was 14 and he 17; they had won the respective women’s and men’s titles. While he noticed her, she thought of him as just another blond gymnast from the US.
The two met again in 1991 when Nadia moved to the States. It was then they reconnected, fell in love, and married five years later. Hearing Bart talk of the Olympic gold medalist, it’s clear how much he adores and respects her. The couple even works together as coaches at the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy in Oklahoma.
