Lori Singer’s father used to be a conductor of the Oregon Symphony, and Singer started playing cello from a very young age. She performed with the Symphony when she was just 13 years old, but she then decided to make a deal with Elite Model Management. Eventually, Singer chose to become an actress.

She gained a bit of recognition when she started appearing on the TV series Fame, but her most notable role remains the one of Ariel Moore in the classic film Footloose. Singer tried playing music again, and she performed as a solo artist at the Carnegie Hall back in 2008. Robin Wright has proven that she’s an exceptional actress numerous times. She rose to prominence back in the ’80s, when she started appearing in Santa Barbara, a popular TV series. Some years later, she had already landed roles in iconic films like Forrest Gump and Message In A Bottle.

Younger generations probably know her as Claire Underwood from the hit series House of Cards. That role earned her a Golden Globe Award and a $420K-per-episode salary. Wright will appear in the upcoming superhero film Wonder Woman 1984. She used to be married to Sean Penn before they divorced in 2010. In 2018, she tied the knot to Clement Giraudet.

Linda Haynes – Age 72

It’s a shame Linda Haynes’ career didn’t last for long, as her estimated $1 million net worth would have been much bigger. She made her acting debut in 1969 when she appeared in Latitude Zero. Even if she performed only in the ’70s and ’80s, Haynes still manages to be remembered.

Haynes is mostly famous for having appeared in films such as The Nickel Ride, Rolling Thunder, and Coffy. Her last acting credit was in the 1980 film Brubaker, where Robert Redford starred. Later, Haynes opted for early retirement and eventually became a legal assistant. She probably doesn’t work anymore, as she’s currently 72 years old.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has been acting since the age of 4, but it was in 1993 that people got to know her when she started appearing on All My Children. However, Gellar became a TV star following her star role on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, where she starred from 1997 to 2003.

Currently sitting on a $20 million net worth, Gellar still acts, but she’s not as focused as she used to be. Instead, she’s co-founded her own baking-kit company since 2015, titled Foodstirs. She then went a step further and released her cookbook called Stirring Up Fun with Food in 2017.

Audrey Landers – Age 65

The TV star is an actress and singer; she is well known for her role as Afton Cooper on the primetime soap opera Dallas. Another famous role of hers is Val Clarke in the movie version of A Chorus Line in 1985. Landers began acting at the age of 9 when she first appeared in a community theater musical. Audrey studied music at the Juilliard School and majored in psychology at Columbia University.

Soon after, Landers moved to Los Angeles, where she landed the role of Afton Cooper on Dallas. As the years passed, Audrey even produced and co-directed several shows. She even worked alongside her sister actress Judy Landers.

Joan Van Ark – Age 78

Most famous for her role as Valene Ewing on the primetime television series Knots Landing, a spin-off show of Dallas. Joan is a lifetime member of The Actor Studio, making her Broadway debut in Barefoot in the Park in 1966. Van Ark went on to win a Theater World Award while also nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.

From there on, Joan’s acting career took off, and there was no looking back. Amongst all her success, she fell in love with John Marshall and married him in 1966. Ark gave birth to their daughter Vanessa, who is a voice actress, model, and singer.

Cassandra Peterson – Age 68

Cassandra Peterson is a woman loved by fans of the horror-film genre. From the early ’70s to 2011, Peterson hosted Elvira’s Movie Macabre, where she presented herself as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. Peterson would showcase B-grade horror films in a comedic way, and her TV show became rather popular.

She later ventured into writing, singing, and other business activities. Peterson’s appeared in many comics conventions for companies like DC and Marvel. In case you want to find more about Peterson, she revealed that sometime in 2020, she wants to publish her autobiography. She looks stunning, and we doubt she’s ever undergone plastic surgery.

Cathy Podewell – Age 57

The American actress Cathy Podewell is known for portraying the role of Cally Harper Ewing in Dallas. Cathay’s inspiration came from her paternal grandparents, who were actors as well. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she majored in theater arts and dancing.

From there on, Cathay went on to star in several movies and television series. Along the way somewhere, she met the love of her life, Steven Glueck. The couple tied the knot in May 1989. Later, they raised three children. After having children, Podewell took a break from Hollywood to focus on motherhood. Though she inevitably returned to the industry.

Shelley Long – Age 71

The American actress and comedian sky-rocketed to fame for playing the role of Diane Chambers on the hit sitcom Cheers. Her performance in Cheers got her five Emmy nominations; in 1983, she won for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Long won two Golden Globe Awards for the same role.

More recently, she played the recurring role of DeDe Pritchett on the ABC comedy show Modern Family. Shelley attended Northwestern University, where she studied drama; however, she dropped out to pursue a career in modeling and acting. Finally, she got her first break as an actress by doing commercials in Chicago.

Apollonia Kotero – Age 61

Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American actress, former model, and singer. She is known for co-starring in the film Purple Rain by Prince in 1984. She was also the lead singer of the girl group Apollonia 6. After being crowned the title of Miss San Pedro at a beauty pageant and after her duration as a cheerleader for the LA Rams, she began her acting career.

Kotero even recorded and released an album with Warner Bros. Records named Apollonia. From there on, Patricia continued to appear in multiple films. Later, she started her own multimedia entertainment company, which also led her to become a talent manager.
