Star Trek movies have a fan base of their own right when the first episode got aired. The sixties galactic marvel was a brainchild of Gene Roddenberry. It was released on N.B.C. after several production hiccups. Moreover, the regular episode, The Man Trap, was released in 1966 on the channel. However, the low ratings of the show almost led producers to cancel it. The rest is history as we know the Star Trek legacy, which was saved by the fan’s letter campaigns. If not, we would not have seen this picture with unique humor where the leader of the Starship Enterprise is holding a questionably-shaped rock.
