This picture of the famous trio of Skatetown, U.S.A., features Patrick Swayze, Scott Baio, and Maureen McCormick. The plot of this 1970s comedy movie revolved around a street-gang leader who challenges a young skater for a contest at a local roller-disco rink. The winning prize of the contest is $1000 and a moped. After the competition, the two rivals become friends, perfect! Since the three artists in this picture had already acquired the top position in their respective careers, they were a triple-threat in the movie. However, it is a little sad that the movie did not win an Academy Award or a box office record!
