Hun relatie begon toen ze nog maar 15 jaar oud waren. Rond hun 18e verjaardag besloten ze een pauze in te lassen en te zien wat ze voor elkaar voelden. Dit maakte hen alleen maar sterker.
Verhuizen naar Barcelona in 2019 voor Frenkie’s voetbalcarrière was best moeilijk voor Mickey, die alleen was in een grote stad. Dan kan ze zeker op zijn steun rekenen en doen ze extra hun best om samen leuke dingen te doen. Ze hebben allebei hun plekje gevonden in hun nieuwe woonplaats en staan samen ijzersterk.
