Thomas Gottschalk ist ein deutscher Radio- und Fernsehmoderator und Schauspieler. Das von Insidern geschätzte Vermögen von Gottschalk beträgt 90 Millionen Euro, wobei die Hälfte seines Vermögens in Immobilien investiert ist.
Bekannt ist er vor allem für seine Moderation der Fernsehshow „Wetten dass…?“, für die er eine Gage von 100.000 Euro erhielt. Von dieser Show moderierte er insgesamt 151 Sendungen.
Für viele Jahre wohnten er und seine Frau Thea in ihrem Luxus-Anwesen in Malibu. Bis es im Jahre 2018 im Zuge der kalifornischen Waldbrände in den Flammen verloren ging.
Kurz drauf schenkte er seiner Frau Thea nach deren Trennung eine Luxus-Villa im Wert von 7,75 Millionen US-Dollar in Malibu, Kalifornien.
