Wenn man sich die Autos der Sport-Superstars anguckt und den Athleten mit der teuersten Autosammlung sucht, steht der Name Lionel Messi an erster Stelle. Nach Berechnungen des englischen Glücksspielanbieters Many Spins hat die Sammlung des Fußballers Lionel Messi einen Wert von fast 33 Millionen Euro. Man spekuliert auch, dass einer der Stars unter den 13 Autos in der Garage von Messi ein Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti ist. Der Fußballspieler soll für den Supersportwagen im Jahr 2016 knapp 32 Millionen US-Dollar bezahlt haben. Der Wagen war früher in Besitz des italienischen Milliardärs Alessandro Proto.
